From T. H. Huxley   13 November 1868

26 Abbey Place

Novb 13th 1868

My dear Darwin

You are always the bienvenue & we shall be right glad to see you on Sunday morning—

We breakfast at 8.30 & the decks are clear before nine— I would offer you breakfast but I know it does not suit you to come out unfed; & besides you would abuse the opportunity to demoralize Harry1

Ever yours faithfully | T H Huxley

Huxley refers to his youngest son, Henry Huxley, who was a favourite of CD’s (see letter from T. H. Huxley, 12 September 1868, n. 3).
