To A. R. Wallace   7 March [1870?]1

6 Queen Anne St. | W.

March 7th.

My dear Wallace

Though I have nothing particular to say, I shd. very much like quarter of an hours talk with you. So if I do not hear to contrary I will venture to call about 10 oclock on Wednesday morning; & I shd think you will have finished breakfast at that late hour.

Ever yours | C. Darwin

The year is conjectured from the fact that CD was in London from 5 to 12 March 1870 (Emma Darwin’s diary (DAR 242)). In 1870, 7 March was a Monday.
