Sarkidiornis melanotos (‘Sarcidiornis melanota’ is a misspelling) is the knob-billed duck. Nettapus auritus is the African pygmy goose. CD recorded a payment of 17s. to Bartlett on 24 September 1871 (CD’s Classed account books (Down House MS)).
