From Thomas Beddoes to Matthew Robinson Boulton   [?November 1799]

I am very much chagrined that you should have to enquire for Magazin Encyclopedigene But I returned the 2nd set of numbers long since – & hope the parcel lurks unopened at Soho – It was directed to you –

I am chagrined also that Mrs Matthews has not drawn on me for the amount of the two parcels of German books.

They will be of great use to me for a plan you will see announced in the larger Notice – as also for the lectures – The channel being once open I hope successive parcels may find their way along it –

Already I have new facts to add to those in the notice – And the patients go on improving –

I feel assured that this is the most beneficial discovery ever made –

You will shew the Notice to your friend at Soho I hope & perhaps will forward some of the shorter ones to any person who may be interested in the intelligence –

I am Dr Sir yours faithfully & obliged sert

Thomas Beddoes
