Mr Clarkson yesterday numbered 206 patients at the preventive Instn – One does not expect much in these times but shd you know of those whimsical characters, who need only hear of a good scheme to bestow upon it some of their superfluous wealth, pray do me the favour to make this cheap, efficient & extensive medical charity – which will I hope reach the rich in time – known to them – Mrs Beddoes desires compts

Yrs truly

Thomas Beddoes
