From Robert Chambers to William Kemp   [21 June] 1847

Edin.

Monday evening.

Dear Sir,

Edin: Monday evening. Dear Sir,

For a particular reason I should like to have a set of the measurements of your terraces (the Eildon Terraces) sent to me at Oxford. I know you will not grudge this trouble. Please address me at

Reception Room of | British Association,

Oxford.

And pray lose no time in writing. I shall be there on Wednesday afternoon to read my paper.

Let me remind you that you lately made a correction of 11 feet upon your lowest terraces, which, I suppose implies a like correction upon all the rest.

Very faithfully yours, | R. Chambers.
