I beg to thank you for your obliging promptitude, in sending me these notes. But though it may be troublesome, I must ask you to give me the particulars of the beaches below No 9 somewhat more precisely, if you can. Indeed, it is just these particulars that I wanted, for those above the No l0 are given in the Journal.
My paper was read to day, and much as I expected, somewhat sceptically received.
