As I return to London tomorrow morning I am unable to accept your friend Mr Townsend’s very obliging invitation, & I request you will have the goodness to make my excuses known to him.
Should you wish to give away any of your Calotype specimens to your friends here, I shall be happy to send you more specimens to supply their place whenever you want them.
