Dear Sir
I am sorry that the enclosed is the only specimen of Encalypta streptocarpa I have with me in Town. On my return to the country I shall be happy to send you better ones accompanied by other Mosses: & in the mean while I have written to my friend Mr Turner 1 to beg he will send you a copy of his Musc. I remain, dear Sir Your obdt friend & Servt
