TALBOT1363

Worthing 1
28th Janry

Dear Sir

As soon as I return to Town I will with pleasure attend to your commission. 2 I have had a lamp made for the purpose of obtaining a greater quantity of homogenous light; it has ten wicks arranged in a straight line, in order that their effect may be united for microscopical observations.– I thought the light equal in intensity to a wax candle. I should be much obliged to you to point out an advantageous construction for a microscope, in which the chromatic aberration is disregarded, affording scope I presume for a more perfect destruction of the spherical aberration, and a larger object lens –

I remain Dear Sir Yours very truly
H. F. Talbot
