TALBOT1521

Tuesday Night

My Dear Henry

I have just dispatched a letter by the first post to you but as you are perhaps even now on the road you will miss it. We intend to sail tomorrow Morning at seven, not an agreeable hour for an Invalide but we are tired of waiting for tides & weather, this place is so ennuyeux, 1 & ennui always disagrees with me. I find by a letter from Bowood 2 that you are still expected there, which I shall take no notice of in my answer leaving that to you, as you ought to write before you leave England & offer to go at Christmas instead. You seem to be a great favorite by what she says. We shall stay I think several days at the Hôtel des Bains at Boulogne for H. 3 to get a little tepid salt bathing, that is if the place is not so full as the papers said
