I think we have almost settled to go straight to L. Abbey on Tuesday 29^th July la Sainte Martha,² & then perhaps to go afterwards on Tour to Cowes & what not, but which may perhaps end in smoke, like many of our schemes. But as I know I shall be low spirited after you are gone, I think I should certainly muster energy enough to go somewhere for a distraction, otherwise I know myself so well I shall be trop triste. ³ Pray write to me as I know not where to direct to you, but suppose you at Winchester. M^r F. ⁴ goes down to L. abbey Friday I believe to meet you I conclude Harrison ⁵ goes too but hope you will mention what day you will be there
