We arrived here last night, after finding all the Framptons ² at a ball at Dorchester & going to it with them en passant. Can you conceive of our unpacking after a journey of 90 miles from Lord Falmouth’s ³ & dancing till the small hours & returning here or rather coming on here after wards? What an adventure! but it amused Car & Hor, ⁴ & they do not seem the worse for it.

We have directed letters to meet you every where as you desired & we hope & wish & expect you will come on here immediately – your aunt wants you & we all pine to see you.
