I received your letter this morning I do not know what you will think of my again putting off your kind invitation to Lacock but the fact is I am now very soon to appear before our Bishop and have now a person staying with me to prepare me for that ordeal and although I am afraid I cannot look forward to pay you a visit this Spring I trust that if you ever give me an opportunity again I shall find nothing to stand in my way
