My Dear Henry
Our Hunt yesterday had the most complete success, the day was brilliant & the Field full, many people we knew, Lord Castlereagh, Lord Alvanley, Lord Wilton, 2 Mr Gilmour Mr Ricardo, 3 Lord Rancliffe & Coln Arden, Lord Alvanley’s Brother. Lord Southampton 4 who is Master of the Hounds did not arrive till very late so that we had a long converzazion while waiting to <throw?> off.
Sir Roth very kindly pressed us to stay to day to wait for Lady Willoughby’s 5 last answer, which came this morning & being unpropitious we shall proceed on our journey early tomorrow & reach home Friday night seeing Warwick Castle & Balvoir Castle & Newnham Paddox Lord Denbigh’s 6 in our way. Thursday night I believe we shall sleep at Cheltenham. <sic> I am almost sorry I wrote this last time to Ly Willoughby as she had already said she would write the first moment she had any chance of room. Let us find a letter from you at Laycock if the <cross?> post m<ake>s 7 it possible. Let me know whether you think of Hastings in case H<e> has left Brighton & whether <illegible> see Hopper 8 in London
