TALBOT2101

Sir /

I must apologise for the liberty I am taking in renewing my application of last year, upon the subject of drawing your covers for a fox, when the hounds are in your neighbourhood; but having obtained M^r Methuens ¹ permission to that effect, with that of the other gentlemen around you, I venture to hope your objection of last season will now be obviated and that you will have the kindness to grant us the favor of a similar permission –

I beg to assure you that you shall not be annoyed by any footpeople whom I can easily avoid and that your Pheasants will be very little disturbed by the hounds passing through the covers –

I have the honor to remain your obedient humb^e Serv^t
