Will you please explain to your friend that if the Signora Liberatori is not to be found at that direction, to leave her letter with that for Dr Vantalerni who will forward it – & ask him to call for the answers if he is leaving Rome in a few days – as I told them they might write freely, which they would not venture to do by post – & a little delay wd not much signify. Constance 1 had another visit – from Mrs Starkie 2 & Miss Wyndham – & had to do the honors of the cloisters a second time
