TALBOT2213

My dear Mr Talbot,

We should have had great pleasure in seeing you here in your little Circuit, but we are unluckily prevented from seeing you at the time you mention as we are going to Swanwick early in next week for 5 or 6 weeks sea bathing – Both Mr Seymer & Louisa & Grace 2 will I think be the better for it – Harriet & her Children 3 go with us & we all of us take up our abode at the Hotel which is very quiet & very comfortable – I am sorry to hear poor Harriot Mundy 4 is ill – I believe there never was so much illness in London, & altho we have been better off in the Country many are complaining of feeling unwell – It would seem as if that unusually long spell of fine weather was unnatural to this country & did not agree with us – London must be very hot, & I do not wonder at yr wishing to leave it – Pray remember us kindly to your family & believe me

Sincerely Yours
Harriet Ker Seymer.

We have been spending a week lately at Oxford, at the Time of the Commemoration & enjoyed it much
