TALBOT2367

West Hall Cowes
June 19th 1832

My dear Sir,

As it will be some days before we reach Hanford 1 I will not wait my arrival there to thank you for your kind letter and the promise of a copy of your little work which we accept in the same friendly spirit in which it is offered. I hope to hear that your canvass at Chippenham will have been more successful and less disagreable than you anticipated. I direct this to London to await your return. We found all the Framptons 2 well, and yesterday evening Mr W. Mundy 3 joined their family party. Lord Ilchester 4 has been in the roads for one night in his Yacht, but was off again yesterday. The Duke of Norfolk 5 is also here with his large Cutter, but as yet there are not many Yachts at Cowes.

Believe me to remain yours very truly
Henry Ker Seymer.

H. F. Talbot Esq
31 Sackville Street
London
