M^r Mayne ² arrived at Chippenham this Morning and I have just been informed, M^r Pownal ³ or some other Gentleman in his stead will be here in a day or two.

If you have no particular engagement to-Day I beg to submit to you the propriety of your calling on M^r Michell ⁴ and M^r Ashe ⁵ this Morning, which will prevent any interruption in our Canvass on Monday and possibly be considered by those Gentlemen as a mark of peculiar respect and attention. –
