TALBOT2530

Richmond
Sunday 23d Decr 1832

My Dear Mother

I read your letter to Constance,1 who was much delighted with the affectionate manner in which you speak of her.

This house2 is so comfortable in consequence of all your arrangements that perhaps we shall be tempted to stay longer than a week. However I will let you know on Tuesday when to expect us –

Constance seems very happy, she has the disposition of an angel –

The weather is very warm, yesterday we had a brilliant sun, but today is cloudy. There are plenty of books that suit us in the library here, without having recourse to the booksellers.

Your affectionate Son
Henry
