Monday
Dear Henry,
I send you an accumulation of Letters & beg you will contradict my message to Constance 1 about the Cruets unless you have others of your own, it is foolish of W. 2 to want to dismantle the Abbey of those sort of necessary things which are easily replaced here being of a common kind (my silver ones are at the Banker’s) and would only give me the trouble of conveying them up & down every time. I have this moment recd a very interesting letter from Constance, telling me many things I want to know. I do not feel near so well as when I left the abbey I attribute It to the excessive odiousness of the atmosphere one breathes. I feel so much gone back that I have sent to day for a Physician for it is foolish at my age to trifle with illness if assistance can be had. What trembles me is dreadful head aches which must have some cause, as I never was subject to them in my life. Give the enclosed note 3 to Constance
affly yrs
Hy Fox Talbot
