I hear M^r F. ¹ has had a letter from you to day but as I have not seen him know nothing of its contents. I have been planting thirty six Evergreens ² which I got from Trowbridge, ³ but as for your large trees Fitzsimons ⁴ says there are only four more to be planted & the 4 holes are already dug ainsi il n’y a pas moyen de consulter mon goût. ⁵

I am a little better but have not yet recovered my inert winter
