My dear Sir,
I hear from my gardener that your present of bulbs reached Spofforth last Saturday, and I return many thanks to you for them. He mentions a white Tri-Chronema amongst them. Am I right in apprehending that it is not one of the Cape bulbs, but a variety of the Italian plant which I recollect you having told me some years ago the you had brought from Naples? 1
Ever yrs truly
