TALBOT2856

Tuesday

My Dear Henry

I am so glad to find from Lord Althorp 1 that you are to have longer Holydays [sic] than usual, & that we shall possess you longer than I raised my hopes to. I advise you to come down Friday instead of Saturday because then the carriage can go to meet you at Melksham, 2 but Saturday Mr F. 3 goes for his Douche to Bath, which he does 3 times a week with great effect. He hopes you will bring down with you the Geographical Journal you took with you. a rumour has reached my ear that you found again the eleven volumes 4 missing last winter out of yr room in Sackville Street 5 – if so you should have mentioned it, as some of them were ours, & the set spoilt of course & the odd volumes consigned to the Housekeepers room I should be very glad to know they were found or any of them, or which of them. Fanny could tell I suppose where they were concealed. and bring down that Yuley [sic]Pamphlet
