Dear Henry –
I enclose you a printed paper which has got Sir C. L.’s 1 name inserted in the Committee but the paper itself has been some time printed & therefore the numbers of the children who have been sent is not correct – The Society have now had above 400 through its hands, 30 of them girls, 12 more of the latter are to sail for Cape Town under the care of a good Matron in ten days – Princess Victoria 2 is the Patroness of our girls asylum, singularly enough to be established in the very house & grounds at Chiswick where we were all educated if you want either girls or boys emigrated under good care, provided with clothes & sent to a preparatory school 3 first only pay their journey to Town & give us £12 · 10s each & we will take charge of any girls or boys from 10 to 14 –
With kind remembrances to Mrs Talbot
Yrs truly
