I hope you are multiplying your designs, & among them that of a new greenhouse. I shall then devote a larger portion of my tender young to your care.

Jane ¹ & I go to Rollison’s ² tomorrow – today to Knights – yesterday to Chelsea where I found only an Apothecaries Dinner going on!

We shall soon have an opportunity for Bertoloni ³ if you have any thing to say or send. M^r Herbert ⁴ is deep in Iridaceae & finds great confusion.

I am helping an interesting Traveller out to Abyssinia – have you any commands? When do you come up again?
