4 Circus 1
Wednesday
My dear Henry
With the letter was left a parcel for you from Mrs Traherne, 2 merely leaving word that there was no answer – I will send it by Knott 3 on Saturday –
Lady Hylton 4 sends you a message about flowers – I enclose her letter which I have answered and do not want to keep. – I have said I cannot promise her candidate, having had so many prior applications – I hope you have ordered some copies of the ‘Records of the Past’ 5 – We should like to read it. and I think Charles & Matilda 6 should each have a copy – I dare say it was your intention to so do. –
your affectionate
Constance
