What dreadful weather to go to gardens in!
Tell me what you have at Lacock – my Tulips are quite spoilt I go Wednesday after Posttime – Have you patience to raise Cratægus florentina – I believe I gave you some seed – Tell me if Euphorbia rotund 1 appears – Do you know Sedum populifolium? it is I believe the only truly shrubby one, & approaches the lignescent Mesembrs in habit – Have you the white grape hyacinth – it seems a botryoides – not a racemosum – Tell me some thing about the giganteum – We have had from Abb– 2 Iris arenaria the least of its tribe – a very pretty bright yellow Daffodil with petals nearly round. & bicolor with petals pointed pale sulphur – origin probably of the double butter <illegible>
