Dear Sir,
I am sorry to hear of your Illness.
In estimating the Value of the Rec[tory]1 of Fisherton 2 I must be governed by the Fact of the necessity for the residence of the Rector & the presumption that he will not be allowed to hold another Living with it.
If the Rectory was £500 a year I shod estimate it at about 16 years Purchase but I shod not refuse 15.
Take Fisherton at (not) 193.0.0
Deduct for Curate 80.0.0
113˝0˝0
Which at 12 years Purchase would be £1256 but I wod by no means recommend You to refuse £1050 for I do not consider that the Rectory is worth more than 10 years Purchase.
I am Dr Sir Yours truly
W.R. King
