TALBOT3391

Normanton Nr Stamford,
Novr 7. 1836

My dear Sir,

Accept my best Thanks for the Present of your learned Work on the Integral Calculus. 1 The Bishop of Lincoln 2 has looked through his list of the Diocese, and can fix upon only one clergyman likely to suit you, and you will perhaps think him too young.

The Bishop sent the included Statement, which I will thank you to return to me. Although Mr Westaby was ordained so late as 1813, yet the Bishop is of the Opinion he is between 50 & 60. - Mr Tate, 3 whom I mentioned in my former letter, is much older, being 65 or 66. -

Believe me Yrs ever truly,
T.K. Bonney.
