TALBOT3750

Chippenham 1

14 Nov: 1838

Dear Sir,

I send you a sketch of our Advertisement for your perusal: when you return it perhaps you will say in what London Paper you wish it to be inserted in addition to the Bath & Country Papers –

My father recommends your selling the Underwood as usual to Gale 2 at a Valuation – as the Expences of a Sale by Auction wod probably exceed the difference in price which might be obtained by selling in smaller quantities – and it is desirable that it should be cut immediately – Unless therefore you direct to the contrary I will make an Arrangement with Gale –

I am Dear Sir
Your obliged Servt

West Awdry.
