I am very much obliged to you for your offer respecting the Comptes Rendus. ² I should like much to see the next two or three of them, & if you would send them after you have quite done with them, under cover to Hon^ble W^m Strangways, 31 Old Burlington S^{t 3} he would frank them to me as he can frank any weight.

There may perhaps be some revelations from M. Daguerre ⁴ at any rate there will be a continuation of Biot’s ⁵ curious experiments.
