Lacock
April 26. 1839
My dear Mother
Mrs Mary Frampton and Mrs Arnold 1 having called at the critical moment of my taking pen in hand, prevent my accompanying these pictures with any missive.
Constance 2 wrote you a long letter yesterday, altho’ it seemed to tire her very much to write; but she said you took so much interest about the Children 3 that she must consult you about all her meditated changes in the nursery department.
Yours affy
Henry
