Dear Talbot -
Many thanks for your beautiful specimens of Photogenic drawing which arrived quite safe, I should have written to thank you before, had I not expected to have been in Town about this time - However circumstances will prevent my starting before Monday the 10 of june, I have made my clerical arrangements so as to enable me to leave home on that day sans faute, 1 when I hope to find you still in Town - I shall certainly bring up some of my drawings for you to photogenicate, but if they require to be on thin paper, I doubt their answering as my drawings even the smaller ones are generally on thickish paper. By the by did Lady Elisabeth ask you to give my brother Crisp 2 one or two, she promised she would, he expressed himself much interested in this new art when he was with me, indeed he could talk of nothing else, & desired me to exert my interest with you in procuring him a specimen; his direction is No 26 North Audley Street - Remember me kindly to Mrs Talbot 3 & to our friends in Sackville Street 4 & believe me
Ever yrs most truly
G. Montgomerie
