I have been to M^r Thorburn ¹ & find you owe him twenty guineas for that picture. His price is now 30 guineas. I saw the Baron de Neumann ² last Night at Lady Palmerston’s ³ ball, he asked me to remind you that you promised him some photographs for the Academy at Vienna & he hoped the Grand Duke of Tuscany ⁴ would not absorb them – answer the questions I asked in my yesterdays Letter. I forgot to mention that your’s <sic> asking for an album to be sent, was received here two days after date Whose fault I don’t know – the Post office most likely.
