Lacock Abbey
Monday, Aug. 10.
Dear Babbage
I have sent you per Coach Bristol Mail today an album containing 35 photographs for the grand duke of Tuscany, 1 and also a packet for Professor Amici at the réunion at Turin. 2
Pray let me hear by a line of their safe arrival at your house.
I wish you a very pleasant and prosperous journey over the Alps, and wish that circumstances admitted of my taking a similar flight.
Yours most truly
H. F. Talbot
