I beg pardon for this intrusion – the person who waited on you with the Magnet & Tube on Monday Evening last omitted to learn from you whether you intended the Wire on the Tube to be wound in four seperate [sic] Coils as I usually wind Magnets, or in one continuous length Your kindly informing me on this point will greatly oblidge [sic]
