I had the honour to receive your letter ¹ of the 30^th Ultim^o [sic] and have since succeeded in obtaining an interview with M^r Carpael ² [sic] whose proposals in reference to your Calotype Patent I am desirous of entertaining as soon as so as he shall be prepared to place them in a tangible form;³ and upon its presenting a fair prospect of remuneration I beg to assure you that no effort should be wanting on my part to bring it into successful opperation [sic]
