I have talked the matter of your Patent over with M^r Beard ¹ and I hand you the result which M^r Beard considers <illegible deletion> a fair proposition on his side If you approve of the arrangement suggested you will be so good as to hand My letter to your Solicitor that he may draw up a proper agreement for your and M^r Beards signatures. You will also give such powers to your Solicitor as will enable him to grant licenses in Your absence from England
