My dear Sir,

I received a note some few weeks ago from M^r Awdry to announce to me the time of Trumpets & javelin-men & long white wands, with an intimation that the entry of the Judges into town could probably be late & the sermon preached on the Sunday I intend therefore to be at Devizes in time to accompany you to meet their Lordships in due & canonical form & state. I shall be at Bath next week (3. Priory Place) & come thence to Devizes.
