TALBOT4562

Wednesday

Dear Henry

You will see by the enclosed that it is no inconvenience to Lepsius 1 to defer his journey 2 till Saturday & I hope it will be none to you. I shall propose to him to go down with us, which will be better for both parties than taking our chance for companions. I intend to be down by dinner time, but will write again more particularly to Constance. 3 I have refused a box at the opera for Saturday so determined am I!!! We have not heard again from Töplitz, at which I am rather uneasy – however the last acct was a shade better. They say those fat rosy children are the worst subjects for fever.

Adieu
