TALBOT4707

Jany – 26 – 1843

Sir

I have taken a liberty which I hope you will please to excuse but as my Mistress 1 was kind enough to say she would speak to you on the subject and as I have not heard anything respecting it since I thought my Mistress may have forgotten it or it may have slipd your memory the request I made to my Mistress was that you would in consideration of the short time I was in your service allow me some little renumeration <sic> for the expence I was at in removing my goods and children from Bath the expence of which was £1..15.0– and as I hope I gave satisfaction during the time I had the honour of living in your service you will please to take the same into consideration as I did not think but I may be stationary for many years

I have the honour
to remain your humble Servant
