My Dear Mother
The cap was very comfortable, only a little too large, it kept me warm enough. I went by a sadly slow train, it was 4 hours 20 minutes getting to Town. The coburg to Chippenham also was very slow and jolty and tedious. It is an inelegant conveyance.
Montgomerie 1 arrived safe this morning.
I find the Binder has got No 2 2 almost ready; he did not tell me so because he had lost my direction, the simpleton!
Your affte
Henry
