Tuesday Jan 28th
My dear Henry
We have sent off your things in a carpet bag which Wright 1 thought the best way – and I hope you will receive them in time for your toilette du matin. 2 – The key will be enclosed to George, 3 that he may have the opportunity of getting all things ready – Lady Elisabeth is just come home from Bowood – quite recovered from her cold. She wishes you to be told that Mr & Mrs Moore come to us on Thursday for two nights in case you chuse to meet them. – But I judge by your sending for your wardrobe that you are not ready to come back yet – How did Brighton look on Sunday? – It was a squally day here –
Your affectionate
Constance –
