TALBOT5420

Sir/

Having frequent occation [sic] to pass thro Sackville St, ¹ my attention has very often been attracted by your dear little Girl leaning against her head and shoulders out of window supported only by a wooden rail; the sight is truly horrible to a Parents feelings, and having known a dear Child which fell from a Window in Cheapside, and was killed on the spot, I take the liberty of warning you against a similar accident: I have no doubt but your servants are very careful, but even the most attentive, cannot guard against the sudden spring of a lively Child, and what is more dangerous, the giving way of a Bar rendered rotten by the wet and heat.
