Chippenham

29 July 1846

Dear Sir,

I have been applied to for some little repairs to the School House at Lacock, amounting to £2.8.0 – it seems that the Subscriptions are hardly equal to the current Expences or I presume the application would not have been made to you, but as the it is important to the Building that these repairs should be done I have thought it best to mention the subject to you.

I am Dear Siryour obliged Servt

West Awdry
