I have taken a house from next Monday week, for eight weeks which will bring it to Easter Monday It belongs to an old acquaintance of mind the Dean of Manchester The rent is 15 Guineas a week It is large and roomy enough, & very near Hyde Park –

There are 3 drawingrooms, the third sometimes used as a best bedroom, it has an alcove on purpose. We will appropriate it to M^lle –

The servants may come in, 3 or 4 days sooner, if you please, to get the house ready – It is vacant at present, so there is no objection. Would you like them to come Thursday, or Saturday, or when? The second drawing room may be the children’s study room if you please, as I do not think we want two drawing rooms, both being large.

In the next floor are 3 best bedrooms, one of which may be the principal nursery – In the highest floor are five spacious attics, containing seven beds – also 2 servants beds below stairs. There is no coachhouse, I will see if I can get one elsewhere on reasonable terms.
