Dear Sir,
I settled Mr Littles Bill by deducting £4. 4.0, and I have his Reports as to the quantities taken by the Compy: Little’s admeasurement amounts to 0 . 2 . 36½ less than Mr Wards 1 – We shall see what their (the Compy’s) final admeasurement will be: on receiving the plans & Elevations of the bridges I will speak to John Gale 2 as you desire.
I have been from home for the last three or four days or your Letter would have received an earlier reply. it will no doubt answer every purpose if I get the Exchange Deeds executed by Mr Mansel Talbot 3 when he goes to Town
I am Dear Sir Your obliged Sert
West Awdry.
H. Talbot Esq
