I hope that you will excuse the liberty of my asking, for a very in case you should not mean to publish your “Assyrian texts,” whether you could allow me to have a copy of them. Mr Rawlinson lent me a copy which he has, and making allowance for any uncertainty in details, there was much which was useful to me in illustrating Holy Scripture. Mr R could only lend me the book for a day. It would be of use to me in my employment on Holy Scripture, if I could have it at hand
